Belleville, IL – The Concordia football team went on the road Saturday afternoon to face Lindenwood-Belleville in their first MSFA Mideast game of the year. The #17-ranked Cardinals came in with a 3-1 record while the Lynx entered 0-4. CUAA dominated throughout the game, limiting the Lynx to just 33 total offensive yards in a 71-0 victory. The win set a new school record for points scored in a game and largest margin of victory.
Roger Engle (JR/Lorain, Ohio) passed for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns in the game. Omar Sinclair (FR/Norcross, GA) rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown in the game. Joe Duff (JR/Croswell, MI) had 73 yards and a rushing touchdown while also returning a blocked punt for a score. Donte Dasalle led all receivers with 93 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in the game.
On defense, Tarek Dalou (JR/Dearborn Heights, MI ) recorded an interception which went for a 32-yard touchdown. Timothy Koehler(SR/Belvidere, IL) also notched an interception while making 3 tackles. Aaron Rahn (JR/Holland, MI) led the team with 7 total tackles. Jay Koski(SR/Portage, MI) finished second with 6 tackles along with a sack.
